Answer: Yes. The much puplicized and promoted new reality/comedy Anchorwoman, where a swimsuit model tries to become a TV anchor, made it all of 24 hours on the air before FOX gave the anchor the axe. I find it funny that it actually made it THAT far. It just shows how bad TV has gotten. I'm sure the people working on it tried as hard as they could to make it as successful as it could be but honestly it just doesn't sound that interesting to be a reaccuring show. It would make for a decent "happy" story for a news broadcast but not an entire series.

I'm not sure why I find this even worthy of my time other than for the fact that someone FINALLY realized this was a bad idea. For those of you interested you can read about it from this Reuters article.
