Graphic Captions

Okay, I've FINALLY seen it. Yes, I posted the trailer a while back in my blog and it's taken me until today to see it. It's really just a case of bad timing. I've been in the works to see it since it came out but each time we make plans with people to go see it those plans haven't panned out. At least until today that is. :)

The movie? Well, what can I say??? It's a typical Indiana Jones movie. Lots of action. Decent story. Pretty predictable. Yeah all of that. Does that make it bad? Heck NO! Loved it. Greatest movie ever made? No, but it is a good addition to the Indy Saga.

Likes, dislikes... Liked the fact that they progressed the timeline and actual kept the past in play. Nice touch. Liked the monkey scene. Liked the ant scene. Done well, I loved how they squished. :) Liked how they brought back characters from previous movies and made them relevant in this one too. I really don't want to give too much of the plot away. Liked the character interaction. They all did well. Thought the waterfall scene was great. Liked how they placed it as a time piece. Disliked some of the action bits had stuff happen too conveniently, like the refridgerator. It worked but how you could survive that is beyond me, I get the lead lined bit but I'm talking more the landing than anything else. Didn't really change my mind on the movie overall but was about the only thing I can come up with as a dislike. 

So lots of things to like about the movie. If you still haven't seen it go for it. You should like it if you have liked any of the other Indiana Jones movies. If you have seen it what do you think? Am I way off base?
